Personal Statement
I am actively involved in research activities on esophageal function. My research team is developing the technique of Multichannel Intraluminal Impedance to measure GE reflux of both an acid and a non-acid type. This technique also has the potential to evaluate esophageal function in response to different food consistencies without radiation exposure.
