Personal Statement
I have been involved in the treatment and therapy of patients with chronic liver disease and viral hepatitis. In our liver center, we are evaluating novel anti-viral drugs for hepatitis and developing new treatments for chronic liver disease. Some promising new treatments include liver dialysis, artificial liver support and hepatocyte transplantation and are all now being tested in clinical trials.
